With no moving parts, the service requirements of Goslyn fully automatic grease interceptors are very simple to carry out.
Should the Goslyn experience an extended period of neglect it can be easily brought back to full performance by means of a full drain down and clean out including cleaning the heater elements to remove baked on sludge. It is good practice to ensure the silt drain pipe is at least 1 inch diameter and does not have any kinks or sharp bends to inhibit the flow.
